Engineering Technologies

The engineering program designed to equip students to pursue a career in an engineering and/or technology field by developing their math, science, and engineering skills. Students will be able to decide if engineering is right for them through coursework students understand and apply engineering design processes, computer-aided design, and computer programming.

Program Resources

Legend High School partners with Arapahoe Community College (ACC) to bring college classes to Legend High School. The Engineering Pathway offers a variety of courses where students earn both high school and college credits and courses just for high school credit. All courses containing ACC in the title are considered concurrent enrollment courses.

Courses offered in the Engineering Pathway at Legend High School include;

ACC CAD 2220- Revit Architecture

ACC CAD 2455- Solidworks

ACC CAD 2456- Advanced Solidworks

ACC CAD 2660- 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing

CTE Intro to Engineering Design

CTE Digital Electronics

CTE Applied Engineering Design

CTE Robotics & Auto Systems

Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO)

Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are co-curricular groups that support students enrolled in career and technical education (CTE) programs. They provide a framework for students to develop leadership, technical, and teamwork skills, often through activities like conferences, competitions, and service projects. CTSOs are considered a vital part of a strong CTE program.

Students enrolled in the Engineering Pathway at Legend High School are encourage to join the Legend TSA Chapter.
