Computer Science

The computer science program is a four year pathway that equips students with the foundational skills necessary to be successful in the IT industry. Students can choose a coding, gaming or Cybersecurity emphasis. Students will acquire deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world business requirements, challenges and problems using professional, gaming and mobile app development platforms.

Classroom environment is career-authentic, project-based, collaborative and most importantly fun!

Legend High School partners with Arapahoe Community College (ACC) to bring college classes to Legend High School. The Computer Science Pathway offers courses where students earn both high school and college credits and courses just for high school credit. All courses containing ACC in the title are considered concurrent enrollment courses.

Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO)

Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are co-curricular groups that support students enrolled in career and technical education (CTE) programs. They provide a framework for students to develop leadership, technical, and teamwork skills, often through activities like conferences, competitions, and service projects. CTSOs are considered a vital part of a strong CTE program.

Students enrolled in the Computer Science Pathway at Legend High School are encourage to join the Legend TSA Chapter and CyberPatriots.
