Welcome to AVID at Legend High School

What is AVID?

AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is an international K-12 elective class that students who are focused on getting into a four-year university take in order to help them stay on top of their studies. They are model students on campus, setting a good example of community service, dedication to academics, and raising the bar on the rigor of the courses they take as they head towards graduation. We focus on teaching the skills to not only help students get into, but stay in college, and be successful.
